In your role you will be reporting to both, your Line Manager and Service User (Leader) who will help and assist you in your career as a Personal Assistant.  Ideally you should have excellent communication skills, be dedicated to providing person-centred support and maintaining high standards of performance. In your role you will: Support the Leader by assisting with activities of daily living; Provide light housekeeping tasks including laundering of Leader’s garment and linens and changing the bed; Assist in the Leader’s personal care activities including, but not limited to: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene; Provide for a clean safe and healthy environment for Leaders; Assist in meeting nutritional needs by providing meal planning, meal preparation, grocery shopping, dishes and kitchen clean-up; Prompt Leaders to take self-administered medications; Observe and report any changes in the Leader’s mental, physical or emotional condition or home situation to management in a timely manner; Establish and maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with Leaders. Skills/requirements: Minimum FETAC Level 5 in Practical Home Care or equivalent.  Full driving license required Class B, Car would be an advantage.
